"Sensitive Skin"

In the video "Sensitive Skin"
The viewer is invited to do more than just watching.
The work creates its own universe, one that neither time nor space seem to have a grip on.
The video doesn't give a narrative context,
but we are seduced by an image in the color of embroidery nut, a frail hand, a white curtain and a white wall.

A subtle reference to a pre-Raphaelite tradition is made, this work lives on the fading boundary between painting and video installation, and through which the fragility of the image suggests an underlying story.

That this is anything but free of conotations, this muted picture speaks:
with transparency and clarity, with wind and color, and the tension between movement and stasis, between disclosure and suggestion.
